My Journey in Interior Design

My love for interior design began in high school, when I first discovered drafting class. That spark of creativity and technical precision quickly grew into a passion, guiding me toward the Interior Design program at Mount Royal University in Calgary. It was there that I found my career “kindred spirit”—a blend of artistry, problem-solving, and practical design that continues to inspire me today.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working across many sectors of the interior design industry. My path has taken me from kitchen design to multi-family projects, closet and storage solutions, luxury plumbing product representation, and cabinetry manufacturing. Each chapter has added depth to my knowledge and sharpened my skills, ultimately bringing me full circle back to my first love: kitchen design.

My Design Philosophy

I’ve always loved the puzzle of designing a kitchen. It’s a challenge that excites me—balancing the unique needs of each client with the principles of interior design to create spaces that are both functional and beautiful.

Collaboration is at the heart of my process. I believe the best designs are born when clients and designer work together, blending vision with expertise. Whether it’s a kitchen or bathroom, my goal is to deliver a space that not only fits seamlessly into everyday life but also respects the client’s budget.
